UPDATE 3/8/2022

The City of Columbus, Ohio lifted the mask mandate effective immediately. Face coverings are no longer required in our Blacklick office.   


UPDATE 2/28/2022

The State of Illinois lifted the mask requirement in most indoor settings effective February 28, 2022. Face coverings are no longer required in our Romeoville office. 


UPDATE 9/10/2021

The City of Columbus, Ohio reinstated the mask mandate effective September 10, 2021. Face coverings are required in public indoor settings, regardless of COVID vaccination status. Our Blacklick, Ohio office falls within the City of Columbus therefore, masks are required in our Blacklick office.  


UPDATE 8/30/2021

The State of Illinois reinstated the mask mandate effective August 30, 2021. Face coverings are required in indoor settings, regardless of COVID vaccination status. All of our employees working in our Romeoville office or at indoor worksites in Illinois will be wearing a face covering. 


UPDATE 5/6/2021

We continue to follow best practices regarding COVID-19:

  • All those who visit one of our locations are requested to wear a face covering as recommended by the States of Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. Masks are available at all of our locations at no charge. All of our employees who are working in the field will be wearing a face covering, as well. 
  • Employees are asked to perform a self-assessment of their health before reporting to work. If an employee is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, they are required to stay home.  Customers that have recently tested positive for or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should not come to one of our locations.
  • Good hygiene is encouraged. This includes regular handwashing and sanitizing.
  • Commonly touched surfaces are regularly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Social distancing guidelines are followed by employees and we ask customers to do the same.


UPDATE 12/2/2020

In order to provide a safe environment for our customers and employees, all those that visit one of our locations must wear a face covering, as mandated by the States of Ohio and Indiana. Masks are available at no charge. If an individual can't wear a mask for medical reasons, a clear plastic face shield is an acceptable alternative. If you prefer not to wear a mask or don't want to shop inside the building, we have other options to accommodate you.

Parts Sales

  • Parts can be shipped to you or no contact curbside pick-up.

Equipment Sales

  • Equipment can be demonstrated outside of the building in the parking lot.

Service Department

  • If you require service on your equipment, we offer pick-up and delivery or you can drop off/pick-up outside our building. 

All customers and employees must remain 6 ft. apart wherever possible, even when wearing a mask. Thanks for helping us maintain a safe workplace!


UPDATE 7/9/2020

In following with State issued guidelines masks must be worn in public indoor places and outdoors if social distancing is not possible. Complimentary masks are available at our locations if you do not have your own. We appreciate your cooperation. 


UPDATE 5/1/2020

Starting Friday May 1, 2020 all of our lawn & outdoor power equipment showrooms, parts & service counters will be open to our customers. We are happy we can once again open our buildings in Blacklick (Columbus), Moraine (Dayton) & Middletown to all customers. In keeping with the guidelines issued by the State we will continue to follow social distancing practices.  The following measures have been put in place: 

  • Our employees will be wearing face coverings; we request and appreciate customers doing the same. 
  • All customers need to stay 6 ft. apart when inside the store. 
  • We have installed plexiglass shields at all counters to provide some separation between customers and employees. 
  • All frequently touched surfaces will be sanitized regularly. 
  • If a customer is not feeling well, please wait to visit us when you're feeling better. 
  • Curbside pickup will still be offered for customers that do not want to enter the building. 
  • Shipping of parts and pickup/delivery of new equipment or serviced equipment is also available. 

BPS Power Systems and Power & Construction Equipment locations are operating as usual while following best practices to keep ourselves and others safe. These locations will also follow social distancing practices. Our employees will be wearing face coverings; we request and appreciate customers doing the same. 


UPDATE 4/8/2020

All of our locations are open for business. We are modifying how we conduct business at our Lawn & Outdoor Power Equipment locations in Columbus (Blacklick), Dayton (Moraine), and Middletown. For the safety of our employees and our customers, we are not allowing customers inside the building and all transactions are being completed over the phone or outside the building.

Equipment Sales

  • Browse our website to see what we have to offer.
  • Call ahead to discuss your equipment needs, purchasing, pickup or delivery. 
  • We will complete as much of the transaction over the phone as possible. 
  • We will review operation of the equipment in-person while following social distancing guidelines.

Parts Sales 

  • Call ahead and place your parts order.
  • Pay over the phone with a credit card.
  • We can ship your parts directly to you or you can pick up curbside.

Service Department

  • Call ahead and let us know the issue or service to be performed.
  • If you are dropping off the equipment, call us when you arrive at our store. 
  • A service writer will meet you at a designated area outside the building to check-in the equipment.
  • If we are picking up your equipment, we ask that the equipment be left in an open, accessible area and that social distancing guidelines be followed.
