Ever wonder how we come up with posts for our social media? Do you say to yourself "They should post information about the great work we are doing in our area?" Share it on social media with the world?
Every good social post should have an image. If you have a HubSpot account and something to say, you are in. Not sure what to write? Tell us about what is going on in the photo? Who is in the photo? Where the event or project is taking place? Why it is important to the company, customers, or society at large.
The first step is easy, request an invitation to get a HubSpot account. If you already have an account you have access to HubSpot, yes you. Just like when Dorthy when she says, "Will you help me write a social post." Glinda replies, "You’ve always had the power, my dear, you just had to learn it yourself." We are not saying that you are not special.
Here is a 3-minute crash course on how to create a post:
Create and publish social posts
Here are some important BPS suggestions to make this go smoothly.
Choose which of our sites your post is more relevant to post to.
Be sure to add images into the social media folder or use something in the library. To add an image, either navigate to the folder, then drag the image into the HubSpot or click "Add image" and browse your drive to the location.
Choose a date when you think the post would be seen by more customers. If you see a red dot on a date, don't panic. This is the program's way of suggesting there are already a few posts that day and you might want to choose a different day or time.
No pressure, all social posts are saved for our team to review before the rest of the world can see them. Just save it as a draft. Then send me an email, at the address below, so we know it is there and we can get it out there. Thanks for sharing (and posting).
